Basic Utility Box Overview

DURABLE

Industrial-Strength– Over-engineered from military-grade plastic with 316 stainless steel hinge and latch trim.

Sun Protective– Sun blocking additives mixed into the plastic lid prevents yellow/fading from harmful UV rays.

Fortified Hinges– A wall of hinge supports across the rear encasing a saltwater-rated 316 stainless steel hinge pin. Precisely designed for the lid to open and rest at a position in line with the bottom of the box.

Military Grade Latches– Made from a saltwater-rated 316 stainless steel latch strap and military-grade glass-filled nylon. If it’s tough enough for the military, then it’s tough enough for us. Oorah!

Quik-Pop Access– Latches are designed to “pop” up and away from the lid in one quick motion. Simply pull up on the latch from underneath while keeping all other fingers clear from the top side of the stainless steel latch strap to achieve quick access.

I really appreciate this particular model. Although I appreciate the modularity of the OG boxes, I feel like this is a better storage option IMO for hard baits for me personally. The OG boxes with the modular bins are great especially for separating different soft plastic lures. They're perfect for terminal tackle. I even use an empty box for storing small tools and parts for my kayak. However, the modular boxes can be limiting if you want to store varying sizes of hard baits unless you're fishing just finesse baits. So I've been waiting on a box like this from Buzbe. I do feel that these are more practical as they have the utility of a tool box and the practicality of a tackle box just like the OG boxes with the modular bins. I wish this came in the 3500 thin size though. But Buzbe has been one of the most innovative brands in the fishing tackle storage world so I wouldn't be surprised if I see that in the future.
